Probably playing on legend vs playing on normal. I'm gonna guess the score went down in "normal" when they dropped it to 1100 light...

The paraversal box costs 7 coins, gives multiple rewards, but there's a good chance it won't be the armor or weapons from the loot rotation. I farm it a bunch to get a good main ingredient roll and I am undecided on which to spend coins on. I do all the bounties first and typically do legend runs, but RNG is not kind to me this week so far.
