Had to give it a shot of starting fluid to start. Used the ranger several times with no problem starting. Ranger started normal today after sitting for over 24 hours.

Sometimes it's just a faulty relay or a bad connection. If the pump is getting power but still don't spool up when you cycle the key, then the pump is bad.

Now he says its not getting complete voltage (12 v) to fuel pump. Turns over just fine and when he jumps out the fuel pump it will start and run.

If you have inline filter replace with a drill pump to suck fuel along pipe, or to force fuel back to tank, you will also need to fill the part that is post filter point. Keep turning the key and it will eventually fire right up.
